Apollo

Apollo for Reddit was a highly regarded Reddit client for iOS, known for its user-friendly interface and rich feature set. It provides a seamless Reddit browsing experience on mobile devices. Apollo for Reddit enhances the Reddit experience by offering a user-friendly interface and a wide range of features for a smoother and more enjoyable browsing experience

Christian Selig set out to create an app for Reddit that followed iOS's design guidelines and had all of Reddit's functionalities. In that process, he ended up creating one of the most loved apps for Reddit with its intuitive swipe gestures, iOS style bottom navigation bar, and settings!

The swipe gestures in Apollo managed to accrue quite the fan following and rightfully so. Instead of having buttons for the numerous functions in a Reddit thread, swipes made using and consuming from Reddit extremely easy and natural. What's more? These swipes were completely customizable from what the app come with as the default!
