Tweetie was a simple Twitter client for iOS that delivered on quality update after update. Additionally, Tweetie invented new user interactions like pull-to-refresh (patented!) and introduced other interactions like quick actions.
Tweetie was one of the highest rated Twitter applications at the time, so much so that, Twitter bought the company behind Tweetie and rebranded it to their official app. The founders went on to creating the official iPad app post acquisition.
